Artistic Director

Annette Osinski is the Founder and Artistic Director of the studio, established in 1982. With over four decades of dedication to dance education, Annette has inspired generations of dancers with her passion, vision, and commitment to excellence. Her leadership has shaped a nurturing and disciplined environment where students of all ages can thrive—whether dancing recreationally or pursuing professional goals. Annette’s lifelong love for the art of dance continues to guide the studio’s mission of building strong technique, confidence, and character through every class.

Her Story

Miss Annette Osinski’s love of dance began at the age of four and has continued to shape her life, career, and passion for teaching ever since. A native of Buffalo, NY, she received extensive training in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and lyrical dance before continuing her professional training in New York City. There, she studied under some of the industry’s most respected teachers and choreographers, including Luigi, Lyn Simonson, Phil Black, Jo Jo Smith, and Charles Kelly, as well as training at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.

Her extensive training opened the door to a successful professional performing career. Miss Annette served for many years as Dance Captain for the Viva Vegas Revue, where she had the privilege of performing alongside renowned artists including Lou Rawls, Chubby Checker, Engelbert Humperdinck, and the legendary Rick James. She later became a member of Fancy Dancin’, a long-running and highly versatile dance ensemble under the direction of Sam Fiorello.

In 1982, Miss Annette founded Center Stage Dance Studio, turning her passion for dance into a lifelong commitment to educating and inspiring young dancers. She became a member of Dance Educators of America and has dedicated more than four decades to developing dancers of all ages and abilities. Under her direction, the Center Stage competition team has achieved tremendous regional and national success, earning numerous titles, regional championships, and national honors.

Perhaps her greatest source of pride is the success of her students beyond the studio. Center Stage dancers have gone on to perform professionally with prestigious organizations including Miami City Ballet, Arizona Ballet, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Hannah Kahn Dance Company, Sarasota Ballet, and Tokyo Disney. Others have pursued professional careers in Las Vegas and on Broadway, as well as touring and entertainment contracts with productions and companies including The King and I, Zodiaque Dance Company, Philadanco, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Stiletto Cruise Lines, and the television show Dance Moms.

Since 2011, Miss Annette has also had the honor of serving as a dance adjudicator at competitions throughout the region and across the country, sharing her knowledge and experience with dancers and teachers nationwide.

Today, Miss Annette and her exceptionally talented and dedicated staff continue to build upon her vision of excellence in dance education. As Center Stage enters its 45th year, the studio remains committed to providing outstanding technical training within a nurturing, supportive, and loving family atmosphere.

We are proud of where we’ve been, excited for where we’re going, and honored to share the love of dance with generations of dancers and families.  Break a leg!
